Wire Drawing Lubricant Powder
Wire drawing powder is the essential material during the whle wire drawing process, lubricates the space between wire rod and the dry wire drawing machine mould, it is a consumption material and need to prepare some in stock.
Generally, the Wire Drawing Lubricate Powder have the following properties:
- It can be firmly absorbed on the surface of the carbon wire steel and enter the drawing die mould together with the steel wire at same time, effectively separating the two deformation area interfaces.
- High pressure and high temperature resistance. Under the high pressure and temperature rising conditions generated during drawing, the lubricating film can still maintain its continuity and lubricity without being destroyed, non-coking, non-caking and deterioration, which means, it has physical and chemical stability
- Good extensibility and lubricity. It can firmly adsorb on the surface of the steel wire, extended and deformed along with the steel wire. The lubricating film has a layered structure, and the molecular binding force in each layer is strong. Weak binding;
- The components that make up the lubricant will not chemically react with the steel wire matrix to form compounds that affect the performance of the steel wire, or cause corrosion to the steel wire, and are easy to remove.
- It does not pollute the environment, is harmless to the human body, and has abundant resources, low cost, and easy storage.
